Fabric Weight (GSM)

GSM (grams per square meter) measures fabric density and thickness. Here's a basic understanding:

  • 100–149 GSM — Ultra-lightweight. Ideal for summer tees, tanks, and breathable layering pieces.
  • 150–199 GSM — Lightweight. Great for everyday t-shirts, casual wear, and warm-weather basics.
  • 200–249 GSM — Midweight. Versatile for year-round wear, polos, and structured tees.
  • 250–329 GSM — Heavyweight. Perfect for premium tees, sweatshirts, and durable streetwear.
  • 330–449 GSM — Ultra-heavyweight. Built for hoodies, joggers, and cold-weather outerwear.
  • 450+ GSM — Super dense. Used for heavy jackets, coats, and rugged outerwear.
